Roses

Roses is a coastal diving base on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain, with easy access to both sheltered bays and more exposed Mediterranean sites. From the port area, dive centers typically run short boat trips to rocky coasts, small islets, and wall or drop-off areas where visibility can vary with wind and season. Expect a mix of temperate Mediterranean conditions: often good daylight on clear days, with typical reef and rocky-bottom fish, plus occasional larger marine life depending on the site and time of year. If you’re in the area for freshwater variety, Banyoles Lake is a known inland option, but it’s not a same-day “from the city” dive for most visitors.
