Koggenland

Koggenland is an inland administrative region in Noord-Holland, Netherlands. It has no coastline or notable saltwater diving of its own; the Dommel river provides local freshwater context. For divers, the region is more relevant as a base for access to nearby coastal dive sites along the North Sea and the Dutch coast, typically reached via larger nearby towns and dive centers in the province. In practice, most diving occurs outside the region, in coastal areas suitable for shore or boat diving, with common species and conditions typical of temperate Dutch waters. The area is better known for landscapes and day trips rather than on-site dive attractions.
