Veracruz

Veracruz is a coastal city on the Gulf of Mexico in east-central Mexico. While the area is a major port and cultural hub, diving locally is limited. The city serves as a gateway to nearby offshore sites and reef ecosystems further along the Gulf, with a handful of dive centers focusing on basic courses, boat trips, and local snorkeling trips. Water conditions can be warm to subtropical with moderate visibility; most dive activity tends to be in nearby offshore areas or day trips rather than within the city itself.
