Ensenada sits on the Baja California coast in Mexico and is a practical gateway for divers visiting the northern Baja region. Given the local geography, diving is a common day-boat activity from Ensenada, with conditions generally mild to moderate visibility and water temperatures that require exposure protection most of the year.
