Herzliya is a coastal city in the Tel-Aviv District of Israel, located on the Mediterranean coast. It acts as a gateway for local shore dives and day trips to nearby reef sites along the central coast, with several dive centers typically focusing on beginner to intermediate courses, rental gear, and guided shore dives. While the city itself isn’t a major diving hub, its location provides convenient access to Mediterranean wrecks, artificial reefs, and varied reef habitats within a short dive radius. Water is typically warm to mild in summer and cooler in winter, with generally clear visibility and abundant reef fish along closer sites.
