Likupang Barat

Likupang Barat is a coastal town on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, near North Minahasa Regency. It sits along the Molukka Sea (southeast of the Sulawesi coast) with direct access to the sea but there are currently no active dive sites or dive centers listed in the immediate vicinity. For divers, the area is more about gateway access to nearby offshore reefs and potential day trips from larger hubs in Sulawesi, with general coastal conditions typical of the region: warm tropical water, moderate visibility, and a reef- and wreck-diving heritage found in broader Sulawesi seas. The locality’s elevation is low and urban development is limited near shore, making it primarily a travel waypoint rather than a traditional dive destination.
