Mellieħa

Mellieħa is a coastal town in Malta’s north, close to some of the island’s best-known North Malta dive areas. From here, divers typically access sites on the Mediterranean Sea (Eastern Basin) via short boat trips or easy shore entries, depending on conditions. Water visibility is often best in calmer periods, and dives commonly feature rocky seabeds, caves and overhangs around the Maltese coastline, with reef fish and occasional bigger marine life depending on the season and the specific site. As conditions can vary with weather and current, many centers plan dives around local visibility and surge.
