Jungutbatu

Jungutbatu is a small coastal village on Bali’s southeast coast, best known as a gateway to the island’s dive scene. Located near Nusa Lembongan, it provides access to popular reef sites, walls, and macro diving around the Bali Sea and adjacent channels. With several local dive centers in the wider area offering boat trips, guided dives, and courses, divers typically use Jungutbatu as a base to reach nearby sites by short boat rides. The water is warm and tropical, with clear conditions typical of the region, and marine life ranges from reef fish to occasional mola or reef mantis depending on the site and season.
