Sidem

Sidem is a coastal dive site situated near Labasari and Tulamben, with quick access from nearby towns such as Abang. The site typically features a gentle shelf and a sloping bottom that transitions into clearer blue water. Conditions are generally calm in sheltered bays, with visibility ranging from good to excellent on many days. Expect a mix of sandy patches and rocky outcrops, hosting common reef-associated species and small pelagics typical of tropical Indonesian waters. Entry is straightforward from the shore or a small boat, and the site suits beginners to intermediate divers, as well as those looking for a relaxed reef-dish dive or macro spotting along the reef edges.
