Kubu
Boga Wreck
Boga Wreck is a coastal wreck dive site located near Bali, Indonesia. The wreck lies in shallow to mid-depth water and offers easy entry from the shore or a nearby beach. The structure rests on a sandy seabed with surrounding gardens of coral and rubble, providing a habitat for typical tropical reef life. Divers can expect a relatively straightforward ascent and descent along the exposed hull, with opportunities to explore the bow and stern sections depending on currents and training. The site is commonly visited by divers staying in the nearby towns of Kubu, Baturinggit, or Tulamben, often as part of a multi-site Bali itinerary. Conditions are influenced by local tides and winds; drift is possible in stronger currents, so appropriate training and buoyancy control are advised. Typical tropical species such as damsel fish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, bannerfish, and small crustaceans are common around the wreck and adjacent reef areas.
