Shabha is a local dive site near El Gouna and Hurghada on the Egyptian Red Sea coast. The site is typically accessed from shore or a short boat ride, with calm to moderate conditions typical of a sheltered area. It features a gentle seabed with coral formations and rocky outcrops that attract a range of reef inhabitants. Divers commonly encounter small reef fish, snappers, groupers, wrasses, moray eels, and occasional sea fans. The site is suitable for relaxed recreational diving and for beginners building buoyancy skills, depending on current and visibility. It’s best dived in stable sea conditions from a nearby town, with local dive operators offering guided trips.
