Rock Wall
Rock Wall is a coastal site on Maui offering a vertical reef face with diverse macro life and clear Hawaiian waters. Divers typically enter from a sandy bottom and follow a sheltered wall that drops gradually, with currents generally mild to moderate. The wall hosts a mix of hard corals, sponges, and a variety of reef fish, including damsels, butterflyfish, and parrotfish, plus occasional turtles and rays. Visibility is often good, and the site is suitable for reef- and macro-focused dives for certified divers. Access is convenient from nearby resort areas, with shallow areas transitioning to deeper sections along the wall. Nearby villages provide easy gear service and shore-based access from Wailea, Kihei, and Makena. Typical conditions reflect Maui’s subtropical marine environment, making Rock Wall a reliable option for a relaxed yet engaging dive along a healthy reef face.
