Golden Blocks

Golden Blocks is a local Dahab dive site known for its rocky underwater ridges and attractive topography. Located a short boat ride from Dahab, the site typically features shallow to mid-depth profiles with swim-throughs and folds in the reef structure. Divers often navigate along the blocks, finding small caverns and fingers of reef teeming with life typical of the Northern Red Sea, including reef fish, parrotfish, and occasional path of butterflyfish and angelfish. Conditions are generally mild with clear water and moderate currents suitable for certified divers and confident beginners with a good buoyancy control. Access is straightforward from the Dahab area and the site is popular for macro and general reef exploration.
