El Fanadir, North is a shallow reef-dominated site off Hurghada, Egypt. Located in the northern fanadir area, the site features typical Red Sea reef topography with sandy patches and coral heads. Entry is straightforward from a shore or a small boat and depths generally range from shallow to moderate, making it suitable for beginner and intermediate divers. Expect clear water, good visibility, and a sheltered environment with gentle currents on certain days. The area hosts a variety of standard Red Sea reef life such as clownfish, damselfish, parrotfish, snappers, groupers, and occasionally moray eels and reef sharks closer to the drop-off. The site is commonly visited by local dive operators from Hurghada, often combined with other nearby north Hurghada reefs for a half-day trip.
