Eilat Coral Beach השמורה

Eilat Coral Beach is a shallow, easy-access reef site along the Israeli Red Sea coast. It features a shallow sandy-patch to gradual reef drop-off with clear turquoise water and gentle currents, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. The site is part of a protected marine area, with healthy coral heads, sponges and a variety of reef fish typical of the northern Red Sea. Expect calm conditions, good visibility on clear days, and easy entry from the beach or shoreline ladders. Notable species often seen around the reef include clownfish, parrotfish, damselfish, fusiliers and various wrasses, with occasional sea turtles and moray eels in crevices.
