Baie De Murènes

Baie de Murènes is a shallow Mediterranean site near Six-Fours-les-Plages, Sanary-sur-Mer and Bandol. At typical depths around a few meters, you’ll find a gentle reef and scattered rocky outcrops that host common Western Mediterranean life. The bay offers calm conditions and straightforward entry from the shore, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Expect dorid nudibranchs, wrasses, parrotfish, octopus and small schools of tropical-like damselfish in clear water windows when visibility is good. The area is influenced by seasonal currents and can experience modest planning differences with tides. Nearby towns provide access to dive centers and local services, with the site commonly used for practice dives, drift safety awareness and macro encounters amid Posidonia meadows.
