3 îlots is a local Mediterranean dive site near Nice, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Villefranche-sur-Mer. The site comprises a small cluster of rocky heads and shallow reefs close to the coast, typically offering calm conditions in good weather and easy access from the shore or a short boat ride. Depths are generally shallow, with a mix of rocky outcrops, small swim-throughs and pockets of sandy patches. Expect Mediterranean reef life such as groupers, sea bream, wrasse, moray eels and octopus, plus seagrass meadows and varied invertebrates in the shallows. Suitable for beginners, cooldowns between deeper dives, and family-friendly dives from nearby towns. Local boats and shore entries from Nice and surrounding towns provide flexible access.
