Zijpe

Zijpe is a shallow coastal dive site in the Dutch Zeeland region. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, with calm conditions typical of sheltered inshore waters. The site features a gentle reef and sandy patches close to shore, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Expect flat to gently sloping bottoms, with visibility generally moderate and currents generally mild. Marine life includes common North Sea species such as wrasse, flatfish, gobies and small gadoids, with posidonia meadows in the surrounding shallows.
