Yerseke
Wrak De Ketel
Wrak de Ketel is a local wreck dive site near the Dutch coast, typically reached from the towns of Yerseke, Wemeldinge, or Kattendijke. The wreck lies on the seabed at modest depths and offers easy entry from a sandy bottom. Expect a straightforward drift or bottom dive with relatively gentle currents and clear visibility typical of shallow North Sea wreck sites. Marine life is common for the area, including standard coastal species such as small cod, wrasse, and crustaceans that gather around the wreck and surrounding sand and seagrass habitats. The site is suitable for discovery dives and basic wreck training, with emphasis on safe penetration and careful buoyancy control when exploring the wreck structure.
