Washing Machine is a local shore dive site near Batangas City, accessed from the coast within a couple of minutes by boat. The site lies in shallow waters and features a gentle sloping seabed with a mix of sandy patches and scattered reef formations. Expect mild currents, clear water conditions typical of the region, and a straightforward entry for beginner to intermediate divers. Common tropical reef life in this part of the Batangas area includes damselfish, wrasses, fusiliers, sweetlips, and occasional reef sharks or turtles depending on visibility and season. Visibility can vary with weather, but calm days offer excellent underwater viewing. The site is often used for a relaxed dive or a quick local training session, given its proximity to Batangas City and short boat transfer from nearby Puerto Galera.
