Vrouwenpolder
Veersedam
Veersedam is a local dive site near the Zuid-Holland coast, typically accessed from coastal towns in the Zeeland region. The site is best known for coastal North Sea conditions with straightforward entry from the shore and shallow to mid-depth walls and sand patches. Access usually involves calm seas and clear water in good weather, with visibility that varies seasonally. Divers commonly encounter typical North Sea fauna such as small fish, wrasse, blennies, crabs, and occasional flatfish around sandy bottoms and eelgrass beds. The site is suitable for drift or wall-focused dives when conditions permit and is often used for training or quick local dives due to its proximity to nearby towns like Veere and Kamperland. Nearby shorelines and shallow depths make it a practical option for a short dive within reach of local centers.
