Tugboat Boris, Wreck

Tugboat Boris is a shallow coastal wreck dive site. The wreck rests in relatively calm waters, offering easy access for entry and exit from the shore or a small local beach. The vessel lies on a sandy bottom with minimal current, making it suitable for beginner and intermediate divers who are comfortable with buoyancy control and close-quarters exploration. Expect a straightforward swim to the wreck, with the bow and superstructure providing shelter for small reef fish and invertebrates. Typical Mediterranean- or Caribbean-area wreck life includes schools of small fish, blennies, damselfish or gobies, and algal growth on the rusting hull. Depths are shallow to moderate, and visibility commonly ranges from fair to good, depending on conditions. The site is near small towns such as L’Esterre, Hillsborough and Hermitage, making access convenient for regional divers and local dive centers.
