Surfpoint

Surfpoint is a local Okinawa dive spot near Uruma, about 6 minutes from the coast and a short boat ride from Onna and Kin. The site typically features a shallow reef crest with steady currents along a submerged slope, making it suitable for drift diving when conditions allow. Expect clear water, with visibility commonly ranging from good to excellent on calm days. The reef hosts a mix of hard corals, fan corals, and a variety of reef fish such as damselfish, wrasses, and occasionally larger residents like parrotfish and groupers. Entry is usually from a gentle beach or a nearby access point, with a straightforward ascent to the surface. This is a practical, intermediate-friendly site that can offer a relaxed drift along a gentle wall and sandy patches at depth.
