Piti
Sms Cormoran, Wreck
SMS Cormoran is a World War II wreck dive site off Guam, lying in shallow to mid-depth water on a sandy seabed with the wreck scattered along a gentle slope. The vessel is widely known for its relatively intact offshore hull sections and accessible exterior exploration, making it a suitable target for trained wreck divers and those new to penetrations with appropriate oversight. Expect a mix of metallic structure, possible small schools of reef fish, and typical sandy bottom life in the surrounding area. Depths vary but dives are commonly conducted in shallow to moderate depths, with currents generally mild in calm conditions. Access is typically from nearby shore-based dive ops and anchored boats serving the Piti, Asan, and Hågat hubs within a short surface transfer.
