Semanjing

Semanjing is a local dive site near Tioman Island, accessed from the main harbor area. The site is typically explored at shallow to moderate depths with relaxed currents, making it suitable for recreational divers and training dives. Expect a sloping sandy to rocky bottom with scattered coral formations and small reef blocks. Common Western Pacific reef life in these tropical waters includes small damsels, wrasses, parrotfish, and occasional moray eels, with better visibility during dry seasons. The site is often visited as part of a drift-friendly itinerary along Tioman’s southern coastal fringe, and is commonly combined with nearby reef sites accessible within a short boat ride.
