Piti
Seabee Junkyard
Seabee Junkyard is a local wreck-dive site located in a tropical Pacific setting. The site features an exposed debris field and scattered remnants from a former installation, resting near the seabed and accessible from shore or a short ride from nearby harbour. Depths are typically shallow to moderate, with the wreckage lying within recreational limits and allowing for both exterior exploration and brief interior penetrations depending on the exact layout. Expect commonly encountered reef- and pelagic-associated species typical of Caribbean-like or Western Pacific reefs, such as schools of small reef fish, occasional moray eels, and passing reef sharks or larger pelagics in open water areas when conditions permit. Currents are variable; divers should plan for buoyancy and navigation within a mixed-bottom environment of sand, rubble, and metal remnants. Access from nearby towns is straightforward, with nearby dive centers offering guided trips and equipment rental.
