Rotui

Rotui is a drift-friendly reef site located near the island of Moorea, in French Polynesia. The site typically lies within a few tens of meters from shore, offering a gentle to moderate current along a sloping reef crest. Entry is straightforward from a beach or zodiac launch, with calm conditions common on the leeward side of the island. Expect clear tropical water, with visibility often ranging from good to very good. The reef supports a typical tropical assemblage: schooling reef fish, damselfish, wrasses, unicornfish, and spotted moray eels, with opportunities to see small critters in the prolific macro habitats. Rotui suits relaxed drift dives for experienced divers and can be enjoyed by confident beginners when conditions are calm and with an experienced guide.
