Quallman Barge (Wreck)

Quallman Barge is a wreck dive site located offshore near the coastal area represented by Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach and Hillsboro Beach in Florida. The wreck rests on sandy seabed at depths typical of nearshore wreck dives, offering a straightforward descent and stable visibility conditions under normal Atlantic conditions. Divers commonly explore the barge remains, which may be encrusted with algae and marine life typical of regional reefs, including small reef fish and invertebrates. Access is generally via boat from local marinas, with possible current depending on tidal conditions. This site is suitable for trained wreck divers with basic buoyancy and wreck awareness.
