Punta Fetovaia

Punta Fetovaia is a shallow Mediterranean dive site located off the western coast of Elba Island. The site features gentle sloping bottoms and rocky outcrops that attract a variety of coastal marine life. Visibility is typically good in calm conditions, with water temperatures following seasonal patterns common to the Tyrrhenian Sea. Divers commonly enter from nearby beaches and follow to the east or west along the shelf, exploring small crevices and patches of posidonia meadows. Expect typical Western Mediterranean species such as wrasse, damselfish, octopus and sea bream, with occasional lobsters in rocky crevices. The site is suitable for beginners and snorkelers venturing into scuba, and can be part of a relaxed day of diving around Fetovaia, Pomonte, or Marina di Campo.
