Presidente Intercontinental

Pelican Reef

Pelican Reef is a coastal reef dive site near Caleta, the Presidente Intercontinental area and The Money Bar Beach Club. The site offers shallow to mid-depth reef topography with clear water typical of Caribbean seagrass and coral habitats. Divers can expect access from shore or small boats, and a straightforward swim-out to a sandy or rubble bottom transitioning to healthy coral gardens. The reef supports common Caribbean reef species such as wrasses, parrotfish, angelfish, and damselfish, with chances to encounter moray eels and small tropical rays in the sand flats. Conditions are generally calm, making it suitable for recreational divers; check local currents and boat schedules for entry options. This site is part of a broader reef system in the area and provides a relaxed, beginner-friendly profile with opportunities for drift along shallow sections depending on conditions.
