Parque Mar

Parque Mar is a local dive site near Portopetro and Cala d’Or in Mallorca. The site lies in calm Mediterranean waters with shallow to moderate depths and easy access from the coast. Expect a mix of rocky substrate and seagrass beds typical of the area, with a backdrop of clear visibility on good days. Marine life commonly includes small reef fish, damselfish, wrasse, starfish and occasional octopus and moray. It’s suitable for beginners and refresher dives, with straightforward entry from the shore and short boat transfers possible from nearby harbors. The site offers a relaxed profile with gentle slope features and several small ledges that attract biodiversity without being a hotspot for large pelagics.
