Nieuwe Sluis De Tetjes

Nieuwe Sluis - De Tetjes is a local Dutch dive site near Kattendijke, Wemeldinge and Wilhelminadorp. The site is commonly accessed from the Zeeland coast and offers shallow to moderate depths typical of sheltered coastal sites. It features a mixture of sandy bottoms and small underwater structures that attract local flora and fauna, with easy entry from the shore or a nearby quay. Expect calm conditions in good visibility and mild currents, suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. The area is often used for training dives and short excursions alongshore, with divers occasionally spotting wrasse, bass, gobies and other small coastal species around the seabed edges and kelp-like vegetation in the shallows.
