Manioc

Manioc is a local dive site near Flic en Flac on the western coast. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, with shallow to mid-depth reefs typically framed by a gentle drop-off and scattered coral patches. The site is commonly used for practice dives and casual reef exploration, suitable for entry-level divers with basic training and for snorkelers venturing below the surface. Expect calm conditions in good weather and visibility that is often good in coastal Mauritian waters. Common reef inhabitants include small to medium reef fish, damselfish, parrotfish, wrasse, and occasional urchins along sandy patches.
