Swiss Drop

Swiss Drop is a reef and wall dive site located off the coast near Flic en Flac, Mauritius. Access is straightforward from the west coast towns, with typical conditions including clear tropical water and mild to moderate currents depending on tidal flow. The site features a sloping sandy bottom that drops to a wall in deeper sections, providing a mix of macro life, encrusting corals, and schooling reef fish. Entry is usually from a boat drop or a shore-based access point, with visibility commonly ranging from good to excellent in stable weather. Divers may encounter typical Western Indian Ocean fauna such as parrotfish, moray eels, fusiliers, angelfish, and occasional reef sharks in the surrounding blue. The site is suitable for intermediate divers due to depth variations and occasional drift potential, but can be enjoyed by confident beginners on calmer days with guide supervision.
