Lime Kiln, Carriacou

Lime Kiln, Carriacou is a straightforward tropical reef dive along a gentle slope with a mix of hard and soft corals. The site sits in shallow, clear Caribbean waters where visibility is typically good on calm days. Expect a relaxed drift of 5 to 15 meters, with easy entry from a sandy beach or rocky shore. Common reef residents include parrotfish, angelfish, drummer wrasses, grunts, and some barracuda or small reef sharks on occasion. The site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers and makes for a pleasant half-day dive when paired with nearby towns like Hermitage, Belmont, or L’Esterre, all within a short drive.
