Lao Lao

Lao Lao is a local dive site near Friwen, Yenbeser, and Saporkren in the tropical waters of the region. The site forms part of a shallow, rocky reef system with typical Indo-Pacific conditions. Expect clear, warm water and moderate currents common along sheltered reef edges. Boat access is straightforward from the nearby towns, and entry is usually from a gentle shore or boat drop-off. The reef supports a diversity of small reef fish, parrotfish, damselfish, and occasional larger visitors like snappers or trevally, with healthy coral cover in many areas. This site is suitable for recreational dives, including beginners under guidance, with straightforward navigation along the reef slope and occasional swim-throughs where present.
