La Mola, Andratx

La Mola, located near Andratx on Mallorca’s southwest coast, is a coastal dive site featuring a shallow to mid-depth rocky reef system with productive slopes and occasional swim-throughs. Access is straightforward from the nearby town of Andratx, just over a kilometer away, making it a convenient option for local divers. The site typically offers calm seas with good visibility in suitable conditions and mild currents along the outer edge of the reef. Expect Mediterranean marine life typical of the Balearics, including damselfish, small wrasse, blennies, octopus and shy groupers around rocky overhangs, with posidonia meadows nearby in sandy patches. It suits beginner to intermediate divers and can be explored as a short half- to full-day local dive from Port d'Andratx or Sant Elm, depending on sea state.
