La Hispaniola

La Hispaniola is a local dive site off the Catalan coast, accessible from Arenys de Mar, Caldes d’Estrac or Sant Vicenç de Montalt. The site sits in saltwater nearshore with straightforward entry from a rocky coastal shelf. Depths typical for local shore dives are shallow to moderate, generally suited to recreational divers with basic training. The topography includes a sloping bottom with scattered boulders and patches of seagrass typical of this stretch, offering a calm backdrop for a relaxed dive. Expected marine life includes typical Western Mediterranean species such as groupers, wrasse, damselfish, octopuses and small crustaceans, with visibility influenced by sea conditions.
