Camaret Sur Mer
La Canonnière V724, Wreck
La Canonnière V724 is a wreck dive site off the Brittany coast, accessible from Camaret-sur-Mer and nearby towns. The wreck lies at moderate depths suitable for experienced recreational divers, with parts of the hull resting on a sandy seabed and the upper structure visible from the descent line. Expect limited penetration depending on training and local conditions; current strength varies with tide. The site supports macro and small reef fish often seen around wreck debris, with typical cold-water species such as blennies, wrasse, dromes, and sea urchins along the hull. Entry is usually from a boat drop-off, with careful buoyancy and line-following to reach the wreck aboard a sheltered area free from strong surge. As with Brittany wrecks, visibility can fluctuate and convergence with the nearby thermoclines is possible.
