Le Tombant De L’île Ronde

Le Tombant de l’Île Ronde is a coastal dive site off Plougastel-Daoulas in Brittany, France. The site features a sloping rocky wall that drops from shallow near the shoreline to deeper sections beyond 20 metres, with pockets, folds and small overhangs typical of Breton coastlines. Access is straightforward from local jetties or boats, and visibility is usually fair to good in calm conditions. The area hosts common Atlantic species such as wrasse, pollack, moray eels and small crustaceans, with posidonia meadows nearby in some spots. The site is suitable for wall and drift dives when currents are favorable; plan for variable seas and ensure proper buoyancy control. Nearby towns like Lanvéoc and Roscanvel provide anchor points for dives and surface support.
