Filao is a local dive site in the Flic en Flac area. Access is straightforward for nearby divers, with shallow entry and a relaxed profile typical of Mauritian coastal sites. Expect calm conditions in good weather and a shallow to moderate depth range suitable for recreational dives. The site generally features typical Western Indian Ocean reefal margins with a mix of sandy patches and small coral formations, supporting common small reef fish, wrasses, parrotfish and moray eels.
