Dhigurah

Dhigurah Kuda Thila

Dhigurah Kuda Thila is a reef dive site in the Maldives known for its shallow, gently sloping coral formations and abundant marine life typical of atoll habitats. The site features a small submerged pinnacle (thila) that rises from the sandy bottom, creating opportunities to observe pelagic activity, schooling reef fish and occasional sharks, depending on conditions. Access is straightforward from local boats with calm surface intervals commonly practiced on atolls. Depths are generally shallow, often suitable for recreational divers, with thermoclines and visibility varying seasonally. The surrounding reefs support healthy corals and a variety of reef residents, including butterflyfish, parrotfish, parrotfish, groupers, morays and turtles in the broader atoll ecosystem.
