Dhangethi

Macha Fushi (Centara Grand)

Macha Fushi (Centara Grand) is a resort-led dive site in the Maldives, located near the atoll’s outer reefs. Access is typically from the resort jetty or nearby dhoni boats, with calm, clear turquoise waters and shallow lagoons transitioning to deeper channels over coral flats. The site is commonly utilized for guided dives and beginner-friendly training, but nearby offshore reefs offer more advanced drift dives for experienced divers. Expect bright corals, resident to small reef fishes, and sightings of occasionally larger pelagic species depending on currents. Conditions are generally gentle in the sheltered lagoons, with stronger currents possible at outer edges and deeper wreck or wall zones. The surrounding area is known for pristine dive sites nearby the inhabited islands of Dhangethi, Dhigurah and Mandhoo, making it a good base for multi-site exploration in the center of the atoll.
