Deep Rock

Deep Rock is a shallow to mid-depth reef and rocky outcrop site in tropical Philippine waters. The topography features a steep drop from the reef crest to a fractured rock face with multiple ledges and small caverns. Access is straightforward from local shore-based dive centers, with typical entry from a sandy seabed and a short swim to the rock formation. Expect clear water, and visibility commonly ranging from good to excellent on sunny days. Marine life includes a mix of reef-d well-known residents such as tangs, damselfish, parrotfish, wrasse, moray eels, and occasional sea turtles. The site suits beginner to intermediate divers, offering both easier overhead environments in sheltered areas and more exposed sections for a shallow wall experience. Currents are usually mild but can pick up with tides; plan for a relaxed drift if conditions allow.
