Cap Antibe
Cap Antibe is a Mediterranean coastal site near Antibes, accessible from the immediate hinterland. The site features typical Western Mediterranean topography with rocky seabed, short walls and gentle slope approaches from shallow depths. Access is straightforward from the coast, with calm conditions common in good weather. Expect a mix of rocky outcrops, small caves and crevices hosting Mediterranean marine life such as wrasses, damselfish, octopus and moray eels, with posidonia meadows in sandy patches nearby. Visibility is variable but often good in offshore conditions; currents can occur near the headland, so plan entry and exit accordingly. The area is commonly visited by local dive centers based in Antibes, Cannes and Vallauris for training or short exploratory dives.
