Le Sécanion

Le Sécanion is a Mediterranean dive site near Antibes, commonly reached from nearby towns along the French Riviera. The site typically features rocky seabed with gentle to moderate slopes and sheltered conditions during calm weather. Access is straightforward from the coast, and the dive usually stays within shallow to mid depths, making it suitable for recreational divers with basic training. Expect typical Western Mediterranean life such as groupers, moray eels, octopus, wrasses and interior meadows of posidonia in sandy patches. Conditions can vary with wind and swell; current is usually mild near shore. The site lies in a busy tourism area with several dive centers operating nearby, and it forms part of the broader Antibes–Cannes coastline dive network.
