Caicos Express (Wreck)

Caicos Express is a wreck dive site off the southeast Florida coast. The wreck lies on a sandy bottom in relatively shallow to mid-depth, with entry typically from a calm, sandy area nearby. As a wreck, it provides a structured marine habitat with parts of the vessel visible on the seabed. The site is generally accessible to experienced recreational divers with proper buoyancy control and basic wreck awareness; currents and surge can vary with conditions. Marine life around the wreck includes typical Atlantic reef fish, snappers, grunts, and invertebrates that colonize submerged structures. The proximity to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Pompano Beach, and Hillsboro Beach offers convenient access from a number of local dive centers.
