Anse Des Quatre Pompes
Anse des Quatre Pompes is a shallow coastal dive site near Roscanvel, Brest, and Plouzané in Brittany. The site comprises a gently sloping rocky seabed with sandy patches, suitable for beginner to intermediate dives. Entry is straightforward from the shore, with calm conditions typical of protected coastal areas in good weather. Expect clear water, modest currents, and moderate visibility seasonally, with common Western European coastal species such as wrasses, gobies, blennies, and small juvenile fish. The nearby shorelines and seabed features offer interesting microhabitats without dramatic depth changes. This site is popular for anchor drops and guided shoreline dives from nearby towns.
