Central Abaco

Central Abaco is a rural inland area on Andros/North Abaco region with limited direct diving access. The Bahamas is famous for its saltwater dive sites, but Central Abaco itself is not a primary diving hub. Nearby coastal areas in North Abaco offer access to shore dives and boat trips, while major resort hubs lie along other islands. Visitors typically use nearby towns on Abaco Island for dive centers and freshwater activities are not a feature here. For divers, this area is more about regional access to the Bahamas’ renowned blue waters than a dive destination on its own.
