Popular areas include Bimini (known for blue-water style diving nearby, plus reef and wall options), New Providence with Nassau (easy access for day trips and good infrastructure), and the Exuma chain (wider variety of sites across many islands and cays). Expect a lot of reef fish life, sponges and corals in the right spots, and frequent drift or current-managed profiles depending on the site. Diving is generally suited to open-water to advanced levels, while technical diving depends on specific depths and local currents. Outside the main island groups, options become more limited, so planning the itinerary and transfers between islands matters.
